Charles & Colvard

Not to be confused with Cubic Zirconia, Moissanite is the name given to naturally occurring silicon carbide and is a rare mineral discovered by the French chemist Henri Moissen in 1893 while examining rock samples from a meteor crater in Canyon Diablo, Arizona.

In 1998 Charles & Colvard received patents to create and market lab grown silicon carbide gemstone. Moissanite is
regarded as a diamond alternative, with some properties exceeding those of a diamond.

A big thanks to the Charles & Colvard and the ad agency for taking notice of my photography style and incorporating it into their new branding.
